We are happy to announce that we will be opening our offices and print works on Monday 18th May at 8am.
We are following Government guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement this evening, I need to announce that Barkers Print & Design is required to close until further notice due to the tightening regulations regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. I wish to thank all of my faithful and new customers for their continued support and I look forward to seeing you all again when the restrictions are lifted and in accordance with any government advice. We can print and publish your short-run books!
The design, typesetting, printing and binding can all be taken care of under one roof to a high standard using our specialist equipment.
If you want to ‘self-publish’ your own work, but still need help with the procurement of a bar-code and book registration with an ISBN number, we can help. Our digital machine is perfect for a short print run of 50 to 200 copies, and our litho machines can take care of larger quantities. Our books are usually ‘perfect-bound’ with gloss laminated covers.
If you have a special book project you would like to have printed, please talk to us and we will help you to decide on the most cost effective way to produce it.
At the end of 2018 we updated our digital press to a brand new Xerox 180.
This has given us even greater versatility within the digital market allowing
us to print on different stocks and larger sizes.
